When the Rockets named Mike D’Antoni their new head coach, we expected the Rockets to play a very high tempo game of basketball. D’Antoni named James Harden his new starting point guard, in a moved that shocked some – “some”. We should have known, the master of high tempo offense, the man behind the Steve Nash/Amare days in Phoenix, D’Antoni knew what he was doing.

Harden has been nothing short of masterful to start off the season. Below, are his game-by-game stats for the 2016-2017 campaign.
