If Gay doesn’t return, where could he end up?
What team makes the most sense?Oklahoma City Thunder: Russell Westbrook needs some help. Yes, Victor Oladipo is a nice piece, but Rudy Gay would add 18-22 PPG to give Brodie some help offensively. Gay will command top dollar in free agency and Sam Presti would need to get creative to make a deal work.
Is there a chance he stays in Sacramento?
Yes, especially coming off a big injury like he had this past season.
Who’s a sleeper team to watch in the Gay sweepstakes?
Los Angeles Clippers: The Clippers will be one of, if not the most interesting team this summer. With Chris Paul and Blake Griffin both unrestricted free agents, there’s a good chance both have played their last games in LA. If either CP3 or Blake leave, expect them to chase a scorer.
