The Oklahoma City Thunder could be a trade candidate for Carmelo Anthony.
Anthony has a full no-trade clause with the New York Knicks and has preferred a trade to the Houston Rockets or Cleveland Cavaliers.
Troy Weaver helped recruit Anthony when he was an assistant coach at Syracuse. Weaver has been assistant general manager of the Thunder since the 10-11 season.
Frank Isola of the New York Daily News reports that one source doubts Anthony would play for the Thunder but he would possibly be willing to discuss it. A second source simply said “Houston” when asked about the Thunder report.
